Let us talk about a sneaky but an amazingly simple strategy that really can increase your sales.

What is this Sneaky Strategy?

Think about this.

If you have a retail store, a physical retail store, and someone came into your store, you would reach out and you would start a conversation with them. You or your staff would probably ask “How can I help you?”

Did you know you can do this online as well?

So this sneaky strategy is what I call “An Engagement Trigger Step”. We set this trigger step to occur on one of your conversion pages.

How Does This Strategy Help You Get More Automated Sales?

Let’s talk about one of my businesses and websites Business Builders Academy.

If you’ve been already on my database or if join my database through opting in for something, there is a cookie that gets left on your computer. This means that the tracking code on the websites knows when you visit it again, and knows what pages you are on. (Don’t worry we don’t stalk you in a creepy way, just in a useful way)

You see if you are already a part of my email community and you then go and visit the application page.

This page is what we call a “conversion page”.

This is a page that actually shows the start of a potential buying interest. It’s more than just a “Hey! I want to get some free info” type activity.

The way the Engagement Trigger comes into play is if you don’t fill in that application page when you go on it. You will receive an email… roughly three hours later… this looks like a personal email, just asking you a quick question to try and engage in a conversation. That’s right I actually want you to REPLY.

Why? Because from a reply we can have a real conversation and see if/how we might be able to help them.

It is really simple yet sneaky; and is exactly the same as saying “Hey! Can I help you?”

The cool thing is, this can all automated. I don’t actually sit there and get a note and think Hey, I need to send them an email. I could if I wanted to, but that’s not real leverage.

The initial email is sent completely automatically, and then, if you reply back and we engage in a conversation, then I’ll get involved personally in reply.

So, you can set up this as well.
