One of the biggest mistakes I see people make when it comes to automating their marketing is they jump into a system and they just start setting it up without thinking about the strategy.

So they set up before the strategy. Big, big mistake. Because, should you be using Office Autopilot? Infusionsoft? Hub Spot? Send Pepper? and any one of the other thousand systems out there, it really depends on the strategy, your business model and a whole bunch of stuff.

How should you segment your contacts? What funnels should you build first? What things can you automate and do you currently automate? Again, it all comes down to understanding your goals, your outcomes, and how your business model currently works and will work in the future.

Save Your Time and Money

So, big tip to you. Don’t go and buy a system and just start setting it up because it’s going to cost you so much more in the long run.

Get super clear on your strategy. Map out your processes, know what you want to capture and what you don’t, what you need to do like do you need to take payments, etc… And then go okay “which system is going to work for me”.
